Jeans & Jewels Gala Raises Record Funds for Charity

The gala took place mid- October at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott and surpassed all records by raising more than $830,000 for the Northwest Assistance Ministry, a non-profit, community charity with multiple programs and services.

“I think we’re all still floating on air a bit,” said Carole Little, President & CEO of NAM. “It was a beautiful, amazing night, and we’re so grateful to everyone who played a role in making it happen.”

Pajama Jams Parents Night Out

The Office of Community Programs will hold the second Pajama Jam event of the school year on Friday, Oct. 25 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Arnold Middle School. Pajama Jam is an evening of fun for children in the community while their parents enjoy a night out.

Third Annual Special Needs Halloween Festival Hosted by Lone Star College of Tomball's Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Lone Star College of Tomball hosts the third annual Halloween Carnival for Children with Special Needs.

The occupational therapy assistant students hope to provide an innovative opportunity where the children and their families can share a fun family experience on October 25 from 6pm to 8pm. The carnival is open to the community and will have activities including:

Zomball In Tomball Trunk or Treat Rescheduled due to Weather

Join in the Trunk or Treating on Tuesday October 22, 2013 at 6pm! The event was rained out during the monthly second saturday events on Saturday October 13, 2013. Remember to wear your costumes! Zomball is the family friendly place to trunk-or-treat, a twist on the quintessential American holiday! Attendees in costume will receive a surprise while supplies last. Local businesses and organizations will pop their trunks to pass out candy and compete for most haunting decor!

Halloween comes early this year! On Saturday October 13th Tomball will transform into Zomball as part of the traditional Second Saturdays at the Depot.

The Tomball Area Celebrates Traffic Relief for Highway 249

The Tomball Tollway Project will work to widen highway 249 providing three toll lanes in each direction.

The project will start on the southern end of Spring-Cypress Road to near Northpointe Boulevard. The second phase of the project will extend the toll lanes north of the bypass to the Harris County line at Spring Creek and points beyond in Montgomery County. Expeditious residential growth makes the Tomball Tollway Project for a priority for the county and city of Tomball.
