Cy-Fair ISD Growth Estimates Fuel Potential $1.2B Bond Proposal

A special meeting was called by Cy-Fair ISD trustees for February 27th to discussing calling the district’s first bond referendum since 2007. The $1.2 billion bond package addresses the district’s growing needs in security, transportation, facilities and technology.

Last year, the district studied student growth to determine the need for another bond election. With more than 15,000 new students projected to enroll through 2020, the need for new funds is paramount.
