Posted on May 29, 2014
The 4th annual Magnolia Summer Fest promises a weekend filled with great music, delicious food and family fun.
The festival will be held June 13-15 at Unity Park and will host many popular country music acts, carnival games and plenty of good food. Real Life Real Music and the Magnolia Community Foundation are teaming up to sponsor this year’s three-day festival.
This year’s musical acts include Grammy-winning artist Rick Trevino, Uncle Lucius, Family Folk Revival and more. To see when your favorite artists perform, check out the schedule of events.
Single day tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults while 3-day passes are only $12 for students and $23 for adults. The proceeds of ticket purchases go toward a good cause, too.
“In the past, funds raised from the [festival] have helped numerous community groups including the Boy Scouts,” said Deborah Rose Miller, president of the Magnolia Community Foundation. “The goal of this year’s Summer Fest is to build a pool of funds available for all Magnolia non-profit organizations.”
Miller also said she’s expecting a wide array of vendors to attend the festival.
Mark your calendars for June 13-15 and get ready for a fun weekend of music, food, shopping, games and more!
